As a new season dawns upon us, so does a new season of the highly addictive and fun Fantasy Premier League. Players who couldn’t crack the top 100 or 1000 will look to crack that this season, and new hope and excitement will come with a new season.
But the big question remains: What players would you want to buy that will make the maximum impact with a low price tag? This is a Spurs article, so we will discuss some options you can have with Spurs players.
You can only take a punt in these sorts of games and hope it pays off, so with our recommendation for Spurs players, we really hope you guys can get lucky and at least finish on top of your own mini-leagues.
Vicario (5.0)
Vicario had a fine start to his Spurs career last year. He played all 38 games for Spurs and garnered 112 points. He kept 7 Clean Sheets in total and got 7 Bonus points. While it may not look impressive from the outside, Spurs will only improve in Ange Postecoglou’s second season in charge.
Pedro Porro (5.5)
Porro should be a shoo-in for every FPL player. Given his promising season last year, his attacking output will improve with time. Porro ended up with seven clean sheets, three goals, eight assists, and 20 Bonus points, accumulating 136 points last year.
Romero (5.0)
It was between Romero and Van de Ven. Last year, Van de Ven missed ten games due to injury, while Romero played 33, so it would only be logical to go with the Argentine. Romero scored five goals, which is impressive. He also managed to get seven clean sheets and 15 Bonus points. In total, Romero got 107 points. But he is a flight risk, as he accumulated seven yellow and one red card and conceded one own goal.
Son (10.0)
The FPL legend. We don’t need to add anything else to convince everyone, so we’ll just put his stats. Seventeen goals, ten assists, eight clean sheets, 25 bonus points, and 213 points. Boom.
Brennan Johnson (6.5)
He might prove to be the best value for money buy. Brennan had an impressive debut season with the Spurs. In just 26 appearances, he scored five goals and twelve assists, earned nine bonus points, and accumulated 131 points. He is a dark horse.
Maddison (7.5)
An underwhelming season concluded with him getting rejected from the England squad for the World Cup. Still, given his talent, we can see him bouncing back this season and take everyone by surprise. He is the editor’s pick. Four goals, eleven assists, nine bonus points, and 117 points last season.
Richarlison (7.0)
Surprisingly, Richie is the only striker option available this time, with Werner being a midfielder. After a subdued start, Richarlison hit the ground running and ended the season with eleven goals and four assists in just 18 appearances. He scored 122 points. Expect him to make a significant impact next season!
